Tunxi green tea is short for Tunxi green tea in Anhui. Many tea people regard it as one of the best tea in China. The main producing areas are Xiuning, She County, Jingde, Jixi, Ningguo and other places in Anhui. It was named "Tunlu" because it was processed and exported in Tunxi historically. The tea is compact, even and sturdy, green and moist in color, green and bright in color after brewing, clear in aroma, thick and mellow in taste, and is a famous green tea in China. "Tunlv" is a kind of fried green tea, which is also called "long fried green tea". Its practice originates from the method of making Songluopi tea. In addition, jasmine, Zhulan, Yulan, Daidai, osmanthus, rose and other flower teas can be made in pits. In the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573~1620), "Tunlv" made its debut in the international market and was sold to European and American countries in 1913. It was once praised as "the best tea" and "green gold". In 1920, there were more than 100 tea merchants operating green tea in Tunxi. It was said that "the boat in Tunxi will be loaded with tea before the ferry". Tunlv has always been an important commodity in China's foreign trade, selling well in more than 50 countries and regions on 5 continents.
